Music Boosters

The San Mateo High School Music Department is gearing up for another year of superb music education with a full and exciting concert and activity schedule. The Music Boosters, a parent volunteer organization providing financial support and advocacy, is an integral part of the ongoing operations of the many groups within the Music Department. Last year, volunteer hours and financial contributions allowed the Concert Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Color Guard, Winter Guard, Orchestra, Vocal Ensemble, Concert Choir, and Chamber Singers to perform and compete throughout the year.

The Music Department is looking forward to a fantastic trip to Disneyland for the bands and orchestra; the choir trip destination will be determined. Both trips will take place this coming spring, April 26th  through April 29th.   More details will follow but both promise to be thrilling opportunities for musical education and performance with some fun thrown in for good measure.

There are many ways you can help our bands, guards, and/or choirs.  Assist with:

         • Uniform Fittings

         • Hospitality at Concerts and Events

         • Band Review Support

         • Concert Ticket Sales

         • Trip Chaperones

Meeting Schedule 

The boosters meet every 2nd or 3rd WEDNESDAY of the month at 6:30 pm in the music building, unless otherwise noted. Please contact Lisa Brooks at for the meeting dates.
